MAGPIE GULLY
Magpie Gully has always been seen as an Australian bushland equivalent to Jurassic Park. Where instead of riding an electric jungle car looking out for dinosaurs, you are riding a miniature bush train, spotting kangaroos, emus, koalas, and other animals in their natural habitat.
Right in the heart of Magpie Gully is a house and barn, transformed into a petting zoo, ranger station, and visitor's hub. It is here guests leave the train and venture on foot. Riding horses or camels, chasing sheep, and even bush walking.
When I think of Magpie Gully, I think of open country surrounded by thick Aussie bushland. It is the perfect weekend spot for the whole family, away from the hustle and bustle of city life or even the adrenaline of a roller coaster or stomach-turning spinning rides.
Guests can stay for the day, or stay for the weekend, with our provided lodge and camping ground.
But hidden deep within the grounds of Magpie Gully hold some deep, dark secrets connected with its rich and haunting history.

The Grassman
The Grassman is Magpie Gully's own equivalent to Bigfoot. A mythical creature, rumoured to stalk the grounds at night. The thick bushland at Magpie Gully makes the park the perfect environment for such a creature.

Mount Zombie
Mount Zombie - once a gold mining mountain, now transformed into a tomb and graveyard. Legend has it that the deceased mine workers who once rested in their grounds now wander the graveyard and mining tunnels. For if the resting place of infamous outlaw Michael Davers is found, it would unleash a curse that could wipe out the world with a zombie plague. That's how the mountain got its name, Mount Zombie.
