COMMISSION GUIDELINES
Cinetorium recruits under a deferred or shared profits written agreement. In other words, the productions ALL Sub-Contractors work for must be released as a film, record, or merchandise, and produce profits in order to receive a cut of 5% to 10%.
Payments for Events will be cut from the profits of ticket, merchandise, as well as food and beverage sales.

The priority of payment will depend on Sub-Contractor's Category Level.

In order to be included in paid work, the Sub-Contractor must…

-
Be a Registered member of Cinetorium
 -
Have passed an audition or attended a consultation with the Cinetorium Brothers.
-
Hold an active ABN (Australian Business Number) or fill out an ATO Statement from Supplier form (if eligible)
-
Hold an Active Blue Card (if over 18 and working as a Youth Angel or Established Artist)
PLEASE NOTE: Cinetorium is currently a non-union organisation, so you WILL be entering a contract at your own risk.

The commission guidelines are as follows...

Public Events Ticket Sales
Profits after Public Event expenses are split 50:50. While the first 50% is paid towards Ticket Sale Staff (Category D), Stage Crew (Category B) & Live Performers (Category A), the remaining 50% is paid to the cast members (Category C) who are NOT appearing on stage. Each Sub-Contractor falling under this category receives a 10% share in profits, equal to a 5% share in Net Profits per event in ticket sales. (Some additional profit shares from other areas may apply depending on Category Level). The remaining profit shares will be contributed into Capital.
For these guidelines to be effective, it is recommended to have no more than six performers appearing in the event with no more than two staff members working as ushers. (Tickets should be pre-sold so there will be no need for ticket vendors - Ushers however will be supplied a phone or tablet with the appropriate apps). Furthermore, there should be no more than ten extra actors appearing in the film.
Concession Food & Drinks
Concession Staff Members (Category D) preparing and serving food will receive a 10% share in of ALL food and Bev Net Profits (After expenses) per event they work at. The remaining 20% (or more) will be contributed into Capital.
Concession Food and Beverage products include but not limited to Pop Corn, Soft Drink, Fruit Juice, Water, Lollies, Chocolates, Cookies, Donuts , and Snack Bars.
For these guidelines to be effective, it is recommended to have no more than 8 Staff Members on Concession Shift to an event.

Merchandise
Profits after expenses are split 50:50. While the first 50% cut is shared between cast and crew by 10% (equal to a 5% cut in net profits per full sale), the second 50% cut goes to event staff and Capital. 10% of this cut (equal to a 5% cut in net profits per full sale) goes to staff members selling the merchandise, while the remaining 80% (equal to 40% in net profits per full sale) goes into Capital.

To receive the commission from merchandise, talents (Category A) or character actors (Category C) must have their character’s image featured in artwork of the merchandise product sold. For crew members to receive profit shares, the logo of the production or event they worked on MUST appear on the artwork, with no more than five characters appearing on the artwork.

For these guidelines to be effective, it is recommended to have no more than five to ten characters appear in the artwork - and more than five skeleton crew members on the production or event in which the merchandise is being marketed.
Film and Record Sales
Profits after expenses are split 50:50. While established filmmakers (Category A), bands, or artists collect the first 50% cut (Bands can share amongst each member, while Solos and Filmmakers can take the full 50%, the remaining 50% is divided into another 50%). Therefore, while Cinetorium collects the 25% of the second 50% cut, the remaining 25% of the second 50% is shared amongst the cast (Category C) and crew (Category B) who worked on the production - each receiving 10% of the 25% (equal to 2.5% of monthly net profits for ALL films/recordings they sub-contractors were involved in).
Cast and Crew for each film/record production may include...

-
Character Actors
-
Film Crew
-
Recording Producer (If hired)
-
Session Musicians
For these guidelines to be effective, it is recommended have up to 6 to 8 cast members, and 2 to 4 crew members.
