Contract Information

Cinetorium recruits under a Sub-Contractor's Written Agreement. Our contracts, however, come in different categories, which measure the priorities and importance of each role to organise and run a Cinetorium Production or event. 

All Paid Contracts (Categories A to D), by law, require an active ABN (Australian Business Number) or an ATO's Statement by a Supplier Form (If eligible) to sign.  

 

These categories are as follows.... 

 

• Category A: Headlining Talent 
  This contract is reversed for Teen Talents, Established Recording Artists, and Filmmakers. To sign this contract, you MUST be selected by the Cinetorium Brothers, an Authorised Youth Angel, or a Manager of the Cinetorium United Family label. 
   

• Category B: Essential Production Crew 
  This contract is reserved for crew roles a production or event couldn't possibly run without. These roles being... 
   

  • Producer 

  • Director 

  • Assistant Director 

  • Director of Photographer

  • Audio Recorder/Engineer 

  • Principal Make-Up Artist 

  • Projectionist 

  • Lighting Technician
     

   To sign this contract, you MUST have at least a year's experience as Category D. 
 

• Category C: Essential Production Cast 
  This contract is reserved for the essential cast members who are selected to portray the important characters who have an important role in the story. The characters are featured in the film/events marketing and merchandise. To sign this contract, you MUST have passed an audition for the character. 
   

• Category D: New Recruits & Branch Staff. 
  This contract is reserved for new members who are just starting in the Cinetorium movement. While some recruits may choose to apply for a role under Category B, others may choose to work as a regular Branch Staff Member. 
  
  ALL new recruits (excluding Teen Talents and Production Cast) must sign a Category D contract. 
   

• Category E: Voluntary Contract / Back-Up Talent
  This contract is reserved for voluntary Cast, Crew, and Branch Staff who are happy to work under a voluntary agreement. It is also reserved for work experience students looking to participate in a Production or Event. As Cinetorium does not have the budget to provide payment to film extras, back-up dancers/singers, or session musicians, all Back-Up Talent are required to sign a Category E Contract at this time. As Category E is a voluntary agreement, an ABN is not required to sign.
