What began as one uncompleted recreational film project has over the years developed into a dream film saga that I (Jason Wingate) just can't seem to shake. This is why since March 2026, I have officially decided to pursue 'Aussie Spies' as the main subject of the now developing 'Stories of the Cinetorium Universal Arc' book series - later to be adapted into a film franchise - for Cinetorium movie content.
Aussie Spies follows the dynamic duo Mick Copper and Jake Jackson, two school buddies who have somehow found themselves in a secret agent war, teaming up with the feisty Agent Sapphire.
The trio work for a secret organisation known as AUS - or the Australian Undercover Service. The organisation was founded by a mysterious man named John Skuller, who while remaining in hiding, keeps a close eye on Australia through his high-tech surveillance and computerised satellite system known as the ED2000 (pronounced Ed Two Thousand).
The Trio's arch-nemesis is the destructive Rocketranger and his menacing henchmen, Jack and Zack— aka The Chaos Brothers.
This villainous trio is always up to no good, attempting to spread chaos all around the city and the world.
Mick and Jake's adventures take them to an isolated animal park called 'Magpie Gully', which is rumoured to be stalked by the mysterious Grassman.
Mick and Jake are sent to the park undercover to track down and investigate the many questions that linger over the rumoured creature. Who is this Grassman, where did he come from, and why does he attack? Are we food? Or a territorial threat?
While Magpie Gully becomes Mick and Jake's new official home, other secrets that have been buried among the 100-year-old property are uncovered, as well as its rich and haunting history.
Famed teen 'Rock n Roll Kid' Andrew Davis is too brought to Magpie Gully after an attempted hit-and-run on his life, which erased his memory as a result.
Meanwhile, Andrew becomes the very key to saving Magpie Gully, as he puts on a concert to raise money, saving the family business from bankruptcy.
Aussie Spies is more than just a simple secret agent action comedy; it's an epic fantasy adventure story, packed with imagination that only a visual artist like Jason Wingate could conjure.
