Our  Story

Cinetorium Brothers2.jpeg

The Cinetorium journey began sometime in 2003 - 2004. After developing an interest in story writing, film making and performing arts throughout his childhood, founder Jason Wingate felt the need of an auditorium like concert hall with a built-in cinema.

Jason however did not begin pursuing the concept of Cinetorium until 2009. After several failed attempts to form a band called 'The Cinetorium Gang', Jason decided to reframe his initial duo act concept and begin seeking a partner to help compose and perform music as part of his Cinetorium endeavours.

By 2013, Jason began to share his stories to a individual member of a church he was attending at the time.

Stories which included the mentions of vampires, zombies, pirates, secret agents; anything that was considered sinful to the Christian culture. Jason was warned if he would not repent his ways, he could find himself in eternal darkness.  So Jason turned to God in prayer, and surrendered all his dreams and visions for Cinetorium.

It was in 2015 when Jason received the first calling from God, and realised that Cinetorium was his future. Jason received a prophesy from God himself, that a young male Christian music student would come into his life. A miracle soulmate to put all grief and pain of his past behind him, and help him build the Cinetorium as a new vision from God. Cinetorium will no longer be considered a place of glitz and glamour, but a sacred paradise of retreat and creative sanctuary.

Jason first met Timothy Clark on a local film shoot in Brisbane. The pair would connect instantly and a beautiful friendship would begin to blossom. When Jason began resuming his search for a duo partner, God revealed to Jason that Tim was the miracle soulmate that was promised. Jason began to put the pieces together, Tim was 21 years of age at the time, he was studying music at a Brisbane university, and was attending church on a Sunday with his family. The evidence was all there, and Jason's faith in his new miracle soul mate began to surface.

On 30th May 2020, Tim and Jason performed ritual in Holy Communion, which would unite them through the Blood of Christ. Tim and Jason have received a blessing grace from God to work together, live together and raise a family together. Through this ritual, Tim and Jason have now officially become the Cinetorium Brothers of the Founding Generation, with a destiny to become the Forefathers of the Cinetorium Community.

Their journey together will begin by producing a series of films, each one containing an original story written by Jason himself. Each film to portray the Cinetorium Brothers as two angelic figures, assisting an adolescent protagonist in a time of darkness. Each original film will contain a song or two in which the Cinetorium Brothers will perform.

Meanwhile, as Tim ( and the rest of the team of course) assists Jason in building his brand, Jason on the other hand will help Tim build his dream own solo career. Going under the stage name 'TimoC', Tim will use Cinetorium's developing facilities to produce, promote and perform his own original music. Making TimoC the first headlining artist to sign under the Cinetorium Label.

Tim and Jason's story will be past down generations to come. Creating a legacy and tradition to this ever growing community.
