Commission Guidelines
Benefits and Conditions
1. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

By signing a Teen Talent Program, Headlining Artist/Band, or Event/Venue Staff related contract, ALL members of Cinetorium agree to abide by the following terms and conditions to receive commissioned payment with no further argument on any compensation changes.

All category written agreements are under a deferred agreement. Therefore, commission can only be generated by the amount calculated by the percentage as specified below. Payments can only be provided if and when film/music content produced by the sub-contractee, or in which sub-contractee appears, or the merchandise in which their image appears, begins generating income.

Cinetorium cannot and does not provide travel compensation at this time.

Cinetorium cannot and does not provide compensation for sick, holiday, or parental leave at this time.

Cinetorium can provide reimbursement for products purchased exclusively for a production or event (ie materials purchased for costume, props, make-up design, or set design requirements); however, a receipt MUST be provided to the exclusive producer or authority in charge of funding.

All commission will be paid at the end of the recurring month after ALL expenses have been paid and monthly net profits have been calculated.

All commission cuts from all different categories as specified below will be included in one monthly payment per member. Payments can be expected on the 30th day of each month, providing the commission is generated from the sale the commission is generated from.

All Artists and Bands are responsible for their own marketing, with the assistance of the branch's marketing team.

The benefits and conditions of each category, as specified below, survive the expiry of each contract or subscription, under the condition that:

The work was conducted within the time period of the contract.

The film and music content remain on the market.

The merchandise products remain on the market. ​

2. GENERATED FROM EVENT TICKET SALES - WITH TEEN TALENT PROGRAM PRODUCED CONTENT

All members of Cinetorium participating in events, or in the productions of the films showing at the events will receive a 10% shared cut in the amount as specified below.

When the final net profits have been calculated, a nominated auditor will split the final amount the following groups for final commissioned payments.

20% of the event's net profits will go directly into capital.

The remaining 60% will be split into two - with 30% going to event staff commission.

The remaining 30% will then be split into two again, with 15% going towards the commission of up to ten artists who appear at the event, as well as in the films the event shows. The remaining 15% will be paid to an extra group of ten members who were involved in the film, but did not appear at the event.

Event staff working as an Usher or in Ticket Sales will receive a 10% cut of the second 30%. What remains will go into Cinetorium Capital.
3. GENERATED FROM EVENT TICKET SALES - WITH HOSTED BY A CONTRACTED SOLO ARTIST, FILMMAKER OR BAND UNDER CINETORIUM - SHOWCASING THEIR OWN PRODUCED MATERIAL.

The Principal Solo Artist will take top priority and receive an 80% cut of the amount as specified below.

All members of Cinetorium participating in events, or in the productions of the films showing at the events, will receive a 10% shared cut in the amount as specified below.

When the final net profits have been calculated, a nominated auditor will split the final amount among the following groups for final commissioned payments.

The event's net profits will immediately be split into 50:50, with 50% going to the Artist/Band hosting the event and the other 50% being split into lots of 10 for Staff working for the event.

Solo Artists hosting the event will receive an immediate 80% of the split 50% as specified in Clause 3.1

If the Host is a Band, the 80% as specified in Clause 3.3.2 can be split among members.

The remaining 20% cut from the first 50% cut will be contributed to Cinetorium Capital.

Staff members working for these events will receive a 10% cut of the second 50% cut. What remains of the second 50% cut will be contributed to Cinetorium Capital.
4. GENERATED FROM EVENT TICKET SALES - HOSTING A GUEST ARTIST OR BAND
(WHO IS NOT A REGISTERED MEMBER OF CINETORIUM)

Guest Artist MUST be invited to perform from the authorities of the Branch.

The event's net profits will immediately be split into 50:50, with 50% going between the Guest Artist and the event and Cinetorium's Capital, and the other 50% being split in lots of 10 to Staff working for the event.

Solo Artists hosting the event will receive an immediate 80% of the split 50% as specified in Clause 5.2.

If the guest performer is a Band, the 80% as specified in Clause 5.3 can be split among members.

The remaining 20% cut from the first 50% cut will be contributed to Cinetorium Capital.

Staff members working for these events will receive a 10% cut of the second 50% cut from profits. What of the second 50% cut will remain will be contributed into Cinetorium Capital.

If the Guest Artist requests a flat rate (e.g $100/hr), the calculated amount will be added to the event's expenses. Cinetorium Capital will take 20% of the calculated net profits, while the other 80% will be split amongst the event staff in lots of 10.
5. GENERATED FROM EVENTS TICKET SALES CONTAINING SCREENINGS OF FILMS LICENSED UNDER ROADSHOW LICENSING AUSTRALIA + A BONUS SHORT FILM OR LIVE PERFORMANCE FROM A MEMBER OF CINETORIUM.

The event's net profits will immediately be split into 50:50, with 50% going towards Cinetorium Capital and the artist/band or filmmaker participating as a supporting act to the screening, and the other 50% going towards the staff on shift.

Solo artists of these events will receive an immediate 50% of the first 50% as specified in Clause 5.1.

Cinetorium Capital will receive the remaining 50% of the first 50% cut from net profits.

Staff members working for these events will receive a 10% cut of the second 50% cut from net profits. What remains of the second 50% cut will be contributed to Cinetorium Capital.
6. GENERATED FROM MERCHANDISE SALES

Calculated Net Profits generated from Merchandise sales will be split 50:50. While the first 50% will be shared amongst Cast and Crew members before being contributed into Cinetorium Capital, the second 50% will be split between staff taking merchandise sales. What remains of the second 50% will also be contributed into Cinetorium Capital.

Cast members portraying characters being marketed through promotion and merchandise will receive a 10% cut of the first 50% under the condition that the product's artwork features their characters' image.

Crew members who assisted on production titles marketed through promotion and merchandise will receive a 10% cut from merchandise net profits, providing the product features the logo of the production they worked on, with no more than four characters featured in artwork.
7. GENERATED FROM CONCESSION SALES

Calculated Net Profits generated from concession, that is Pop Corn, Drinks and Confectionery; Lollies, Chocolates, Cookies and Donuts; are split into a 20:80 cut. With 80% going directly into the Capital, the remaining 20% goes towards the Staff working in Confectionary - whether they are making Pop Corn, or serving customers.

No cast member, crew or artist receives a commission cut from confectionery.
8. GENERATED FROM ONLINE SALES

Online Sales include subscriptions or a single sale from Film, Video, or Record Sales. (While Merchandise can fall into 'Online Sales', all Merchandise commissions are generated under ‘Merchandise Sales‘.

Royalties and commissions to artists and bands feature on the film/music content, which vary, as specified below.

FILM & MUSIC CONTENT PRODUCED THROUGH TEEN TALENT PROGRAM: These sales are split 20:80, with 20% going directly to Cinetorium Capital. If there are more than eight members involved with this production, then the 80% is split into two lots of 40%.

All members involved in film/music content will receive 10% from the amount as specified in clause 7.2.

FILM & MUSIC CONTENT PRODUCED OUTSIDE OF TEEN TALENT PROGRAM, AND BY INDIVIDUAL ARTISTS AND BANDS: The remaining80% going directly to Cinetorium Capital. The remaining 80% goes directly to a solo artist, or is split between the band.

No venue or event staff receive commission for online sales.
9. GENERATED FROM TEEN TALENT PROGRAM WORKSHOPS

Youth Angels working with a band of four Teen Talents receive a 20% cut per $15 per Teen Talent in their band - per hour. (Workshop Fees are included in Monthly/Quarterly/or yearly Teen Talent Program Subscriptions). 20% x 2 = 40% per band.

Any venue venue staff working in a Teen Talent Workshop - but are not in a band, ie Mangers, Managers, Coordinators, and Coaches will receive a 10% cut of the remaining fortnightly net profits. What remains goes into Cinetorium Capital.

Teen Talents do not receive commission for workshops.
10. CAPACITY RESTRICTIONS
To ensure the guidelines specified above are followed, a maximum capacity in categories as specified below is reinforced through company policy.

A maximum of six per band; equal to two Youth Angels and four Teen Talents - multiple bands, however, may collaborate in other bands and artists’ productions and events.

A maximum of four members of crew and up to 14 members of cast per film production. Any extras MUST work under a voluntary agreement.

A maximum of eight performers on shift per event.

A maximum of five staff members in ticket sales and ushering per event. ​

A maximum of three staff members in concessions.
-
A maximum of two staff members in merchandise sales.
