The Cinetorium Code
Our Code of Conduct
1. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

Workshops and rehearsals are compulsory activities. Failure to frequently attend without notice may lead to dismissal.

'P' BlueCard will be required for ALL Youth Angels looking to lead Teen Talents.

An active ABN (Australian Business Number) is required by law to participate in paid work activities under a subcontractor’s agreement. This can be avoided, however, should the registered member be eligible for a 'Statement for Supplier' form provided by the ATO.

Cinetorium is a diverse environment and welcomes all persons to membership regardless of race, religion, age, gender, and orientation.

Members between the ages of 12 and 17 are by law considered minors. Cinetorium takes the safety and wellbeing of our minors very seriously. In which case, the following are reinforced under the Cinetorium Code.

Cinetorium has a zero tolerance for bullying, exploitation, aggression, violence, or any abusive or illegal behaviour of any kind. Violation of this clause may lead to dismissal, and the police can be notified if deemed necessary.

Any use of social drugs, alcohol, smoking, or vaping of any kind is STRICTLY prohibited. Medication is acceptable for medical purposes; however, authorities MUST be notified. Smokers (over 18) may also be excused to smoke within 20 metres away from the group.

Personal contact is acceptable under a caring and guiding nature, with the consent of the person (of any age) involved. However, any romantic or sexually suggestive gestures between an adult and a minor are STRICTLY prohibited.

Youth Angels are responsible for ALL the Teen Talents in their band. A Teen Talent (or any minor) is NEVER to be left alone and unsupervised by a minimum of two Youth Angels (or adults) present at all times.

A Junior Teen Talent (Member between the ages of 12 and 15) cannot make contact or any connection with the public without a Youth Angle or some kind of adult figure present. This includes but is not limited to - media interviews and appearances, social media and online chats, gigs, and public appearances.

A minor must NEVER be left alone with an adult, unless that adult is the minor's parent or guardian.

Cinetorium cannot be held responsible for secondary students cutting school.

It is against company policy for a Junior Teen Talent (Member between the ages of 12 and 15) to work after 8 pm on a school night, or after 10 pm on any night.

A Junior Teen Talent (Member between the ages of 12 and 15) can work no more than five hours a day - and no more than two days a week.
2. CONTENT GUILDLINES

Cinetorium accepts unsolicited material ONLY from its registered members and artists.

Cinetorium cannot accept content with restricted material - eg graphic violence, high-course language, nudity, drug use, pornography, or sexual content to any degree.

Cinetorium cannot accept content that promotes the artist/band as a sex symbol or idol of any kind.

Cinetorium reserves the right to refuse or remove content which violates any terms and conditions as specified in clauses 2.1 to 2.3.
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Cinetorium reserves 100% copyright ownership to ALL film, music, illustration, animation, graphic design, written, or publication content produced within the Teen Talent Program. Cinetorium reserves full rights to copying, showcasing, reproducing, and selling content produced through the Teen Talent Program. Content can be sold or showcased either within or out of Cinetorium's showcasing facilities and resources.

​Cinetorium does not permit any member, member of the public, or any other third party, including studios or production companies, to copy, reproduce, or showcase original film, music, illustration, animation, graphic design, written, or publication content produced within Cinetorium's Teen Talent Program without legal authorisation.

All members of Cinetorium will be credited efficiently for their participation in ALL productions associated with the Teen Talent Program.

Cinetorium is classed as a non-union working environment; therefore, ALL Sub-Contractors will enter into a written agreement at their own risk.
4. GUESTS' CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

One ticket per seat

No flash photography in the theatre at any time

Non-Members are NOT permitted backstage or in any other unauthorised access area at any time (unless they hold a VIP pass and are scheduled to meet a talent in person).

Guests holding a media pass reserve the right to film the live segments of a Cinetorium showcase for media purposes; however, any filming of projected cinematography is STRICTLY forbidden.

Cinetorium reserves the right to ask a guest to leave if found harassing a branch's member, event staff, or artist.

Cinetorium reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest who has been found to constantly violate Clauses 3.1 to 3.5
5. COMMISSION AND COMPENSATION CONDITIONS

By signing our written agreements, all subcontractors agree to the commission benefits as specified on each individual contract with no request or arguing for a raise or change of any kind.

A member of Cinetorium reserves the right to a personal break of any short, medium, or long-term period. That being said, Cinetorium cannot provide compensation for holiday, sick, or parental leave.

Cinetorium can provide reimbursement for costume and set items purchased exclusively for production or an event job; however, a receipt of purchase MUST be provided.

Cinetorium is classed as a non-union working environment; therefore, ALL subcontractors will enter into a written agreement at their own risk.
6. RESIGNATION AND DISMISSAL

Members wanting to resign MUST give notice via email (or group message) and MUST wait until the end of their contract period.

Cinetorium reserves the right to dismiss and sub-contractors and anyone who violates any clauses in the Cinetorium Code, and causes themselves a nuisance to other members. - EVEN IF THEIR CONTRACT PERIOD IS NOT YET EXPIRED.

Cinetorium reserves the right to refuse re-entry of a former member who has violated any clause in the Cinetorium Code - or caused themselves a nuisance to other members.
