Code of Conduct

1. Purpose & Scope


This Code of Conduct outlines the ethical standards, professional expectations, and creative responsibilities required of everyone working under the Cinetorium umbrella.

This policy applies to:

  • All Cast & Musicians (including independent performers)
     

  • Production Crew (essential technical staff)
     

  • Sub-Contractors (working under deferred or profit-share structures)
     

  • Volunteers & Management

2. Core Creative Values

  • Respect for the Vision: Acknowledge and support the artistic architecture of Cinetorium projects.
     

  • Collaborative Spirit: Foster an open environment that encourages shared independent cinematic development and musical performance.
     

  • Audience Dedication: Maintain absolute professionalism to deliver high-quality, authentic multi-genre entertainment.

3. Film & Music Content Guidelines


To protect the Cinetorium brand and ensure commercial viability across distribution platforms, all created content must adhere to the following classification criteria:

  • Target Ratings: Cinetorium primarily develops content aimed at PG (Parental Guidance) or M (Mature) audiences.
     

  • Late Night Exceptions: Content intended for specialized "Late Night" programming or specific mature audiences may include MA15+ (Mature Accompanied) themes, provided they are explicitly approved during pre-production.
     

  • Prohibited Content: Under no circumstances will Cinetorium accept, produce, or host R18+ (Restricted) or X18+ (Explicit) material.
     

  • Inclusivity & Safety: Scripts, lyrics, and visual themes must not promote, depict, or encourage hate speech, discrimination, or harassment against any group or individual.
     

  • Pre-Production Approval: All scripts, storyboards, and song lyrics must be formally approved by Cinetorium management prior to filming or recording.

4. Workplace, Set & Live Event Behaviour

  • Dignity & Respect: Treat all crew members, performers, and public property with courtesy, avoiding any form of harassment or discrimination.
     

  • Punctuality & Reliability: Arrive on time for rehearsals, shoot schedules, live performance sound checks, and consultations to respect everyone’s shared time.
     

  • Live Event Etiquette: Represent the brand professionally at public events, interactions with venues, ticketing staff, and audiences.
     

  • Fit for Duty: Present to sets, studios, and event venues free from the influence of drugs or alcohol that could impair safety or performance.
     

  • Public Relations: When filming on location or hosting public events, remain polite and accommodating to local councils, residents, and businesses.

5. Child Safety & Protection Policy

  • Zero Tolerance: Cinetorium holds a zero-tolerance policy for any form of child abuse, exploitation, or inappropriate interaction with minors.
     

  • Compliance: All personnel working alongside cast or crew members under the age of 18 must hold a valid, active Working with Children Check (WWCC / Blue Card) where legally required.
     

  • Chaperone Requirements: Minor talent must always be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or an approved chaperone while on set or at Cinetorium events.

6. Intellectual Property & Social Media Usage

  • Brand Ownership: All intellectual property, including scripts, song concepts, melodies, masters, film footage, and promotional concepts developed for Cinetorium, remain the exclusive property of Cinetorium.
     

  • Social Media Restrictions: Personnel must not post behind-the-scenes footage, unreleased music snippets, script leaks, or costume designs to social media platforms without explicit, written approval from management.
     

  • Public Representation: Do not make official public or press announcements on behalf of Cinetorium or its projects from personal social media accounts.
     

  • Third-Party Copyright Liability: Cinetorium cannot be held responsible or liable for any copyright violations committed by personnel. Any external or additional materials produced outside of Cinetorium and brought into a project must hold an authorised special license or proof of ownership before use.

7. Financial & Contractual Integrity

  • Set Remuneration: Personnel will receive a flat rate of $35.00 per hour for active, logged time spent working on set.
     

  • Travel Compensation: A flat $20.00 travel allowance is payable exclusively to individuals required to drive long distances to reach the designated filming set or performance location.
     

  • Royalties & Residuals: Eligible personnel are entitled to a 10% royalty pool generated from sales of videos/records, live event ticket sales, and official merchandise, subject to specific contractual conditions and minimum terms.
     

  • Business Compliance: Personnel must maintain an active Australian Business Number (ABN) or complete a valid ATO Statement by a Supplier form where eligible.
     

  • Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding ongoing productions, trade secrets, and financial details.

8. Breach of Conduct Resolution

  • Immediate Intervention: Anyone asked to stop unacceptable, unsafe, or non-compliant behaviour must comply immediately.
     

  • Dispute Handling: Conflicting creative parties must engage in fair, neutral conciliation to reach mutually agreeable solutions.
     

  • Disciplinary Actions: Serious breaches may result in contract suspension, category reassignment, legal action for IP leaks, or permanent removal from current and future Cinetorium productions.
