Contract   Information

Effective as of 16th November 2024

Cinetorium is a community based, non-union organisation. To ensure everyone is paid fairly under our tightly limited budget, we have introduced a contract system which determine which role is higher than others, and which role takes top priority in receiving the first payment.  We at Cinetorium ask for your understanding, as our non-union organisation company is still in its initial developing stages and budget is currently very limited.

The current daily pay rates are listed below

0 to 3 hours per day on set/event (A Quarter Day) =  $25.00/day

4 to 5 hours per day on set/event (A Half Day) =  $50.00/day

6+ hours per day on set/event (A Half Day) =  $100.00/day

At this point in time, rehearsals, workshops, outreaching, or social gatherings are counted as paid activities. Pay rates above only apply to Cast, Crew and Fellow Staff signed under one of the category contracts below for Cinetorium Capital Branch. Cinetorium selects its recruits as 'Sub-Contractors'. In which case, an ABN (Australian Business Number) is required by law. However, some Sub-Contractors may be able to escape an ABN with a 'Statement by Supplier'.
Contracts have been drafted and overlooked by a practicing solicitor and accountant, courtesy of LawPath.
