The First Testimony

The Cinetorium dream began sometime in 2003 - 2004, when founder Jason Wingate felt the need of specially designed theatre; ie an auditorium like concert hall with a built-in surround cinema. The name Cinetorium corporates the words 'cinema' and 'auditorium' into one word.

Jason however did not begin to pursue Cinetorium as a movement and business until 2009. Initially, Jason had intentions to put together band that was as much about making movies as it was about making music. The band would be named 'The Cinetorium Gang' after their proposed venue. Since forming a committed group of 5 proved too difficult however, Jason then decided to abandon his initial band concept, and pursue his Cinetorium leading act as a duo.

By mid-2010, Jason teamed up with an old friend from the Brisbane Gang Show, and formed a duo called 'The Cinetorium Brothers'. Since neither one were confident singers, the new creative partners decided to form a group of 'Teen Talents' who would do the singing for them. It was also decided that Cinetorium will be marketed through a BTS (Behind-The-Scenes) Reality TV Show that would be broadcast through a local television station, but the station would only take their concept if the duo were willing to pay $1200 to air it as part of a prime time program. Since the pair couldn't agree on how to raise the money, the project was scratched and the original Cinetorium Brothers separated.

By 2013, Jason had began adapting the many stories he created throughout his adolescents into Cinetorium projects. At the time however, Jason was attending a local church, and showing his stories to an individual member, Jason was accused of worshipping the devil, simply because he was writing stories that included grimm images. On that same day, Jason turned to God in prayer, and surrendered his Cinetorium vision. Jason gave God full permission to destroy his Cinetorium if he felt it unworthy. God responded to Jason's prayer, ensuring him he would not destroy his Cinetorium vision, as he had good use for it.

In 2015, the same week Jason began his studies at JMC Academy, Jason received a new calling from God, "A Gay Christian Music Student will come into your life, and take the new position as your Cinetorium Brother. This Gay Christian Music Student will become your miracle soul mate, and help you build your Cinetorium".

It wouldn't be till 2018 that Timothy Clark came into Jason's life. Tim and Jason officially met on the set of a local film shoot in Brisbane. They connected instantly and as they got to know each other, Jason would soon learn that Tim identified himself as gay, however was not out to his Christian family who attended they're own local church on a Sunday. Tim at the time was also studying music at the University of Queensland (UQ) in St Lucia, Brisbane. By May 2020, God revealed to Jason that Tim was the promised miracle soul mate all along.

On the 30th May, 2020, Tim and Jason performed a ritual through Holy Communion, which would unite them through the Holy Light and Blood of Christ. Tim and Jason have been a given blessed grace by God to be together - to live together, work together and raise a family together. We now know today, the term for 'Cinetorium Brothers' simply means 'Brothers in Christ for the Cinetorium Movement and Community'.

God is calling the Cinetorium 'Tim and Jason's Sacred Temple', and the land it sits on, 'It's Kingdom Paradise'. Not a kingdom for Tim and Jason to rule however... but a kingdom to to serve. Only now do we understand, what God's good use for Cinetorium actually is. Since Jason surrendered his vision in 2013, God took away the glitz and glamour, and turned the vision of Cinetorium into a sacred creative place of sanctuary and retreat. A place in which a community can come together in a time of great Darkness  Even the biblical Book of Revelations speaks of a time when the AntiChrist will rule, and the entire world will be forced to follow his wickedness, and turn away from God. When this time comes, Cinetoriums all over the world, will be the one place followers of the Holy Light can come, especially when even the Church falls under the AntiChrist's rule. Of course we are promised of Jesus Christ's Return, but when in the time of Darkness will that happen, and until it happens - with no Churches anymore sacred, where will followers of Christ go?

As the duty of 'The Cinetorium Brothers', it is Tim and Jason's duty to ensure people will follow the Holy Light their sacred temple, through the medium of musical film - or as Jesus calls them - 'Visual Parables'. By building a creative community through entertainment and compassion, Tim and Jason will strengthen a Light that will shield their community against the Darkness, bringing hope to God's creation once and for all.

'The Cinetorium Brothers' duties, legacy and heritage will be passed down generations until the end of time, expanding the United Family TreeThis is what we celebrate on Cinetorium Day
